Design Consultant – Fashion Journal

Cushla Whiting is an exciting Melbourne-based jewellery designer specialising in bespoke engagement rings and wedding bands.

We are looking for a talented and energetic design consultant to join our team.

The successful applicant will be meeting with clients to show them through our collection, and then working with them to create their bespoke piece. The chosen applicant will also be working closely with the jewellers on the production management of such pieces. Although the candidate doesn’t necessarily need previous experience working in jewellery, any other design related or customer service or fashion/luxury retail experience would be helpful.

Training will be provided for this role and on-going support provided.

DETAILS

• Starting immediately
• City location
• Trial period for this role will be 6 weeks

• Meeting with clients for bespoke design consultations (mainly wedding bands and engagement rings).
• Managing production of pieces from start to finish.

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD HAVE

• Initiative.
• Confidence with design and face to face meetings with customers.
• Outstanding organisational skills, attention to detail and time management.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated with a “can do” attitude.
• A natural flair for design.
• Undergraduate degree in or currently studying towards design/arts/fashion/jewellery or related fields.
